🍳 Staying In? Try This Instead
Recipe of the Week: Creamy Garlic Chicken
Brown chicken breasts in a pan, then gently cook garlic and sliced mushrooms. Add a little chicken stock and cream, return the chicken to the pan and simmer until cooked through. Finish with black pepper and parsley. Serve with potatoes, rice or green vegetables.

Simple, warming and ideal for an October evening.

🏛️ Aberdeen Then & Now
Marischal College — From University to Civic Landmark
Marischal College was founded in 1593 as Aberdeen's second university. The present granite buildings developed during the 19th and early 20th centuries, and the college later merged with King's College in 1860 to form the modern University of Aberdeen. Today, the landmark building on Broad Street is home to Aberdeen City Council — a striking example of how an historic Aberdeen building has found a new role in the modern city.
